  1. Set the probe position and angle correctly. Image clarity, resolution and magnification are the main factors of concern in endoscopy, which are related to the distance and angle between the probe and the observation area. Under normal circumstances, when the lens is too far away from the object to be inspected, due to the influence of lighting conditions, the light is weak, and the image will become dark. When the lens approaches the object from far to near, the magnification and clarity of the image will gradually increase, but when the lens approaches a certain distance, the image will become virtual as the distance decreases. Therefore, it is usually the best to observe the image within a certain range (e.g. 5-25mm) from the detection area, so the distance between the probe and the object should be controlled. In addition, the plane of the probe and the measured object can achieve good observation effect in the range of 45-90 degrees. In the actual detection, by repeatedly changing the position and angle of the probe and the observation point, we can find the appropriate observation position and obtain satisfactory detection effect.

  2. Replace the probe in the correct way. The angle of view of the probe refers to the angle of the maximum observation range of the probe, and the size of the angle is determined by the lens group on the probe. They are usually mounted on the front end of the probe by means of double connections, such as double threads, threads and external locks. Industrial endoscope, especially video endoscope, can change the angle of viewing direction by changing different conversion lens. Therefore, if the probe needs to be replaced in the detection process, it must be replaced correctly according to the interface mode and firmly installed to avoid the lens falling off in the subsequent detection process.

  3.  The probe shall be transported to the position of the object to be inspected in a proper way to avoid damaging the probe. Since the endoscope detection of the pipeline accounts for more than half of the total amount of endoscopy detection, the following is illustrated by the example of pipeline detection. The larger the diameter of the probe, the longer the length, the smaller the gap after entering the pipe, which will easily hinder the inlet and outlet of the pipeline. Accordingly, the probe is easy to block and damage. Therefore, when moving in the probe during the inspection, the slower the action, the probe will reach the designated position smoothly. If the probe encounters obvious resistance during the propulsion process, it shall stop moving immediately, and push it after removing the resistance, and cannot be pulled by force Pull. Likewise, the detector should be slow and careful when exiting.

    Some problems of using industrial endoscope probe are explained from three aspects. In the specific application process, auxiliary tools can also be used to help the probe reach the ideal observation position smoothly, maintain the stability of the relative position between the probe and the observation point, and stabilize the image in the motion scanning. In addition, after using the probe, it is necessary to clean and maintain the probe according to the equipment instructions.
